The Nunavik Housing Bureau (NHB) provides comfortable, safe and affordable homes adapted to Inuit needs and culture. Through its programs and services, it contributes to the development of vibrant, sustainable and safe communities.
Under the supervision of the Pivallianiq program manager, the Pivallianiq Agent provides assistance to tenants by raising their awareness of the importance of maintaining their housing units in good condition and adopting safe and healthy habits in and around their homes. They uphold the organization’s mission, goals, and values; and can work in a team. If no other resource is available, the Pivallianiq Agent provides assistance in all activities related to the administration of Client Services with the tenants of NHB.
This position offers a competitive hourly base salary ranging from $30.14 to $37.30, depending on experience.
Employees are eligible for an annual travel allowance of $11,881.08, an annual cost-of-living differential (CLD) of $14,015.16, and a food cargo allowance of $4,005.42 per year, in accordance with current policies and
eligibility criteria.
The position also includes 25 vacation days, 16 statutory holidays, and 12 sick days per year, with the option to accumulate a bank of 70 hours (10 days). Group insurance and a pension plan with a 7% employer RRSP contribution are also offered.
