Accounting Technician/
Administration

Salary and benefits

  • Competitive annual base salary ranging from $68,559 to $92,474, based on experience.
  • Including the cost of living and food allowances, total annual compensation ranges from $84,448 to $108,362.
  • Flexible schedule with the possibility of working between 35 and 40 hours per week.
  • An annual travel allowance for your trips between Kuujjuaq and the rest of Quebec.
  • Housing provided in accordance with current policies.
  • 25 vacation days.

  • Option to accumulate a bank of 70 hours (10 days).

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to the assistant director in decision-making
  • Assist auditors in the production of financial statements
  • Perform accounting entries and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Pay invoices, issue payments to suppliers, and make electronic funds transfers
  • Process payment requests for representation expenses
  • Invoice rent receivables as needed
  • Reconcile rent receivables as needed

Required Profile

  • Hold a college diploma in accounting with three years of experience, or any combination of training and experience deemed equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge of SIGLS and LOGIC systems (an asset)
  • Knowledge of the northern context or Inuit communities (an asset)
